Dr. Ahmad Mursel Anam graduated from Mymensingh Medical College and later obtained Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK). He completed his rotatory internship from Mymensingh Medical College hospital, and post graduate training from Mitford hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University hospital in Bangladesh. He pursued his career in the field of critical care & internal medicine at Square Hospitals Ltd since 2006. During his sabbatical he was trained in Acute & General (Internal Medicine) in Western General Hospital & Royal Infirmary Edinburgh in United Kingdom and attained an International Fellowship in Acute & General (Internal) Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE). Later he achieved the degree of Master of Science in Critical Care with Merit from the University of Edinburgh, and elected a Fellow of the Royal College of physicians of Edinburgh.
He has got 60 scientific publications in various national & international medical journals. He is also active with various academic and research activities with different national and international universities & organizations.
At present, he is working as Associate Consultant, Acute Medicine, HDU & Internal Medicine. He is the first ever consulting physician for Acute Medicine in Bangladesh.
