Dr. Foujia Sharmin graduated (MBBS) from Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital. She achieved her first FCPS in Obs & Gyne and then second FCPS in Gynecological Oncology from BCPS. She is working in the Gynecological Oncology Department of National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Foujia has advanced training in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), PIPAC (Pressurized Aerosol Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) from Aster International Institute of Oncology, Bangaluru, India. She also has experience in Robotic Surgery.
She provides comprehensive care to patients with all gynecologic tumor and malignancies like ovarian, cervical, endometrial, gestational trophoblastic disease, vulvar and vaginal cancer, pelvic and cytoreductive surgeries, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures as well as prevention of cancer.
