Dr. Foujia Sharmin graduated (MBBS) from Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital. She achieved her first FCPS in Obs & Gyne and then second FCPS in Gynecological Oncology from BCPS. She worked in National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital (NICRH) from 2015 to 2022. Now she is with Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College, Hospital.
Dr. Foujia has advanced training in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), PIPAC (Pressurized Aerosol Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) from Aster International Institute of Oncology, Bangaluru, India.
She provides comprehensive care to patients with all gynecologic tumor and malignancies like ovarian, cervical, endometrial, gestational trophoblastic disease, vulvar and vaginal cancer, pelvic and cytoreductive surgeries, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures as well as prevention of cancer.
She has joined Square Hospital as an Associate Consultant, Gyne and Gynecological Oncology.
