Dr. Bijoy Dutta is a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist with over fifteen years of expertise in advanced coronary and peripheral interventions and over twenty years of service in the Bangladesh Government health sector. Throughout his seventeen years at NICVD, Dhaka, he has established himself as a leading expert in complex coronary and peripheral interventions. He served NICVD as an Associate Professor of Cardiology.
His educational background includes an MD in Cardiology from NICVD and an MBBS from Dhaka Medical College. He has further enhanced his expertise, including Interventional Cardiology programs in Mumbai and New Delhi, hands-on advanced procedural training in the UK, and specialized IVUS and rotablation training in Japan. Through these global exposures, he has adopted modern, evidence-based strategies that enables him to provide world-class cardiac care. He is a fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention (USA).
His professional career encompasses over 6,000 coronary, structural, and peripheral interventions, yielding excellent clinical outcomes that reflect his precision and skill. Dr. Bijoy Dutta specializes in complex procedures, including IVUS/FFR-guided PCI, Left Main and CTO PCI, primary PCI, PPM implantation, PTMC, and advanced cardiac imaging. He joins Square Hospital as a Consultant, Interventional Cardiology.
