Dr. Mohammad Yasin Chowdhury graduated  from Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College . He started his career in the Department of General Surgery of Chittagong Medical College Hospital. After passing BCS (Health) he enrolled in the Government service and worked successfully in Chittagong Medical College, BSMMU and NIDCH. He obtained FCPS in General Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) and MS in Thoracic Surgery from NIDCH.  He obtained Fellowship on Laparoscopy & Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from India. He attained training on Colorectal and Advanced Laparoscopy from India and China. He is a life member of SOSB, SELSB, BCPS, BMA. He has a number of publications in National & International Journals.

Dr. Mohammad Yasin Chowdhury  has 22  years  experience in the field of General, Laparoscopy, Colorectal , Hernia , Breast , Thoracic  and Cancer Surgery .He is  also  expertise in Minimal Access  Surgery and treating diseases with minimal invasive techniques (Mini Cholecystectomy/Appendicectomy). 

Now he is working as a full time Consultant in the Department of General Surgery at Square Hospitals Ltd.
